'There are other clinical trials, but nothing that would make a difference for Jessica,' says Andy. 'So we had to decide whether we wanted to continue treatment, or let her enjoy a 'normal' life in the time she has left.' On October 12, Mr Whelan and Nicki made the decision to end treatment and were then told Jessica only had weeks to live.
